What is this?

Times tables are multiplication facts from 1×1 to 12×12. Knowing them fluently is the foundation for fractions, algebra, mental arithmetic, and everyday calculations.

Why does it matter?

Multiplication fluency frees your brain to tackle harder problems. Every fraction, percentage, and algebraic equation relies on multiplication at its core.

Key terms
Factor — a number being multiplied (in 3 × 4, both 3 and 4 are factors) Product — the result of multiplication (3 × 4 = 12; 12 is the product) Multiple — a product of a number and any whole number (6, 12, 18 are multiples of 6) Commutative property — order doesn't change the result: 3 × 4 = 4 × 3 Square number — a number times itself: 3 × 3 = 9; appears on the diagonal of the grid
🎯 Try this challenge
